How Does Acupuncture Work for Digestive Diseases

However, acupuncture has very emphatic effect on functions related to the esophagus, stomach, and intestine. Acupuncture has demonstrated effectiveness in managing the side effects of from both chemotherapy medication and anesthesia.

Course of treatment

There are 10-15 acupuncture sessions in one course of treatment. Treatment frequency depends on individual condition. Chinese herbs work synergistically with acupuncture.
